About
Since graduating from University of Newcastle and settling in California, Dr. Shehbaz Singh has used his Doctorate of Food Science (2009) to tackle the issue of food waste, which causes the loss of 40% of food produced in the United States alone.
In his decade with Curation Foods, Dr. Singh led the BreathewayTM division, creating patented packaging that extends the life of fresh produce through modified atmosphere control.
Some of Dr. Singh’s other projects include developing solutions that extend the shelf of bananas, raspberries, and mushrooms as well as advising for organizations like the National Mango Board.
With a proven 15+ year track record in the post harvest technology space that encompasses roles in product development, research, technology, and project management, Dr. Singh brings a unique expertise to every project.
